{"id":1462,"date":"2008-11-15T20:38:55","date_gmt":"2008-11-16T02:38:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=1462"},"modified":"2008-11-15T21:18:20","modified_gmt":"2008-11-16T03:18:20","slug":"my-rex-morgan-theory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=1462","title":{"rendered":"My &#8216;Rex Morgan&#8217; theory&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although all of the &#8216;action&#8217; involving the Turkey Shoot Regatta is long past (and more time seems to have been spent patching up Ollie Tweaks), the story lingers, more so than usual.\u00a0 Why is this?<\/p>\n<p>My theory is that because Lenore Foster is a REAL PERSON (no kidding! really!) and a friend of Woody, the <em>Rex Morgan<\/em> artist, there&#8217;s some amount of twitting going on between the two of them.\u00a0 It&#8217;s also my understanding that some original RMMD art is\/was going to be auctioned for the Hospice coffers as well, and I have to admit that there&#8217;s been a bountiful beau-coup buttload of great faces and facial expressions in this story arc.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the wonderful panels and expressions.\u00a0 Sure, we snorked and laughed about some of them (and some of the dialog has been changed &#8212; the patootie panel is its very own self!), but this is top-of-the-line cartooning:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/not-rmmd-cabin-boy-portraits.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1467\" title=\"not-rmmd-cabin-boy-portraits\" src=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/not-rmmd-cabin-boy-portraits.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/not-rmmd-cabin-boy-portraits.jpg 900w, https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/not-rmmd-cabin-boy-portraits-250x200.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A lot of them are more that a little suitable for framing, and I&#8217;d kill for (or, well, I&#8217;d love to have) a piece of genuine RMMD art.
