{"id":2119,"date":"2009-04-03T10:29:19","date_gmt":"2009-04-03T16:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=2119"},"modified":"2009-06-08T22:52:20","modified_gmt":"2009-06-09T04:52:20","slug":"happy-birthday-to-siuf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=2119","title":{"rendered":"Happy Birthday to SIUF!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, I&#8217;ve been <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">wasting my short time on Earth<\/span> adding to this blog for a whole year!\u00a0 I&#8217;d been doing mashups for some time before, but this has been a <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">cheap<\/span> fabulous way of setting them down in pixels and hoping that they&#8217;re making some folks laugh&#8230;or chuckle&#8230;or groan&#8230;or scratch their heads.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t even have a mashup to commemorate Anniversary #1, but hey, June Morgan is in a bikini today, so maybe that&#8217;ll inspire me (I say &#8220;inspire,&#8221; because considering how June looks in a bikini, I think I&#8217;d just be depressed otherwise&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/not-rex-june-bikini.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2123\" title=\"not-rex-june-bikini\" src=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/not-rex-june-bikini.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Okay, I lied.\u00a0 Well, no, I just got inspired.\u00a0 And the more I looked at the first panel in the 3 April strip, the more I wondered why we can&#8217;t see ANY of June in the mirror.\u00a0 Of course the bathroom in her cabin is larger than any of the ones in <em><strong>MY HOUSE<\/strong><\/em>, so that could have something to do with it, but I prefer a more logical reason (a bathroom that large for the run-of-the-mill cruise guest is hardly logical, after all).<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to <strong>Josh F.<\/strong>, The Comics Curmudgeon hisself, for his great blog, and to <strong>Dean Booth<\/strong>, whose mashups first inspired me and continue to do so several years after discovering just how PhotoShop can be abused!
