{"id":2422,"date":"2009-05-14T17:04:40","date_gmt":"2009-05-14T23:04:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=2422"},"modified":"2011-03-18T15:45:41","modified_gmt":"2011-03-18T21:45:41","slug":"pssstwere-changing-the-name-to-surreal-forest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/?p=2422","title":{"rendered":"(Pssst&#8230;we&#8217;re changing the name to &#8220;Surreal Forest&#8221;)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, <em>OF COURSE<\/em> Mark is going to rescue Rusty and Sassy, and give those bad guys what for in the process.\u00a0 But strange things have been going on in Lost Forest, or at least in the minds of the reads of <em>Mark Trail<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>CC commenter Esther Blodgett noted (based not only on the latest <em>Mark Trail<\/em> shenanigans and its ubiquitous <em>Sciurus maximus<\/em>, but also those going on in <em><br \/>\n9 Chickweed Lane<\/em> (high heels being worn by <em>everybody<\/em>), <em><br \/>\nMary Worth<\/em> (proudly sporting her <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">funeral director<\/span> hospital docent name tag),<br \/>\n<em>Funky Winkerbean<\/em> (cancer! 24\/7) and<br \/>\n<em>Judge Parker<\/em> (the attack of the 80s cheerleaders)):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8230;my dreams tonight are likely to feature a giant squirrel sporting six-inch heels, a nametag, and a bad 80s hairdo.
