This is your profession!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Be professional!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I admire cartoonists\/illustrators\/artists who can produce work on a very constant, rigorous schedule &#8212; it can&#8217;t be easy, particularly when one is cartooning less and illustrating more (like most of the folks who work on serial comics like <em>Mary Worth<\/em>, <em>Rex Morgan<\/em>, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>But gee whiz, take a step back and LOOK at your work.\u00a0 Mis-sized heads set at weird angles make an interesting scene laughable.\u00a0 (<em>aka<\/em>, Where can <strong><em>I <\/em><\/strong>buy a Lu Ann bobble-head?).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-A3G2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6297\" title=\"New A3G\" src=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-A3G2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-A3G2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-A3G2-250x83.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And while the Keanes have been phoning it in for some time, there&#8217;s some real artistry here and a sense of movement,\u00a0 muscle tension and orientation between two bodies.\u00a0 Unfortunately, there&#8217;s an innate creepiness with Daddy holding a resistant Dolly (kind of looks like our cat Tobu when she sees the nail clippers&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-FC3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6298\" title=\"New FC\" src=\"http:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-FC3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-FC3.jpg 320w, https:\/\/snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/New-FC3-216x250.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be professional!
