Platitudes around Mary Worth are as common as flies around a trashcan. But here in an election year, not only do we have to endure the Mother Goddess of Meddling but also politicians — oh, the horror! (Is it November yet?)

And for the record, what the skeevy senator in Panel 3 says is untouched by snarky hands or Photoshop. Comedy gold!

Well, I think a lot of folks figured that Grandpa Jim and Lisa Moore were going to do a double-feature shuffling off of the mortal coil. And dang if we weren’t surprised! And here I had them with other beloved characters doing their ghostly, Bright Side of the Force thing…

Or is that Revelations? This young lady got as much attention at CC as some of the lesser-known comics. I wonder why.

This is probably why I don’t read the Archie-type comics much.  Thanks to Little Guy from CC for sparing me (most of) the horror.  I don’t know if this is much in the way of gratitude…

This is the only time I’ve messed around with Slylock-related stuff (well, there’s one other time, and a keen eye will see that), so…thanks, Bob Weber, Jr.! And I’ve got my Count Weirdly stripped framed and proudly displayed, too!

Still, how sad is it to see Dawn reduced to this? You KNOW what a fragile ego she has! And Drew so conveniently “forgot” that moonlight riding date with her, in lieu of having dinner with that sand-tramp, Vera! (And yes, Dawn stole Vera’s high-heeled sandals, hoping that she, too, stumbles….unfortunately, it’s likely to be into Drew’s dreamy arms!!)
