I nailed the ZAP! in today’s Phantom (Go, me!), spelling variations aside, but I hadn’t realized just how BIG it was — no wonder the Spirit Lioness was so testy! And even Kit was impressed!

I was pretty sure that the Spirit Lioness’ actions were being affected remotely by an implanted chip or something; it’s nice being proven correct, though.
It’s even nicer screwing around with this concept.

While we were in Las Vegas this week, I missed the strips of The Phantom in which Kit has drugged the “Spirit Lioness” and now attempts to discover the source of her aberrant behavior. While a body cavity check was not seen (or at least kept to the never-seen Fifth Panel), Kit was getting mighty friendly with the big cat, all the while chatting her up. All I can say is that Kit is a pretty hands-on super hero.
