Maybe I was a wee bit premature (not the best word to use in situations such as this, perhaps) in my original assessment…

Lu Ann’s good idea has been uncovered! And Margo’s response should surprise no one who has a passing knowledge of Apartment 3G. Nevertheless, it’s good excuse for a little mental exercise — yeah, sure, it’ll be fun!
I realized that Tommie just stands there. I almost feel that something ought to be said about her, maybe for a word balloon to fill the expanse of turquoise and lime green in the lower left corner.
“So, that new hairdo isn’t attracting any more guys, is it?”
“Are you still a nurse or something? I think you leave the apartment sometimes.”
“Bathroom, mule!”
Over at our favorite NYNY apartment, Margo walked off into the mist and then walked back (apparently), Lu Ann walked around Arlington National Cemetery and then returned (no mean feat there!), and Tommie just sorta stood there.
All the girls are together again for some new and exciting adventures! But first…
I think the guy in question is Darin’s adoptive dad, who was once the Westview High School principal. I think Darin was Dead Lisa’s bastard child. I think all these interconnections would still fail to make an interesting movie. Or life.
Even mixing it in with two other strips for some sort of surreal trifecta doesn’t help. (In case you haven’t been following closely (just like me!), evidently gave Margo Magee a chicken milk stinkbomb as a Christmas gift, and it just detonated in one of Apartment 3-G’s closets.)

I have NO IDEA what’s going on in Apartment 3G‘s storyline, but when Dr. Ari Poppacherrios shows up on January 8 in a Santa suit, hooch in hand, it merits a mention!
And you seriously, seriously thought I was going to let a man in a Santa suit on 8 January go by with just one mention?
(aka, “Disembodied Extremities Week”), what could be better than a nice, relaxing evening at home?
Or horny. Or something.
Some old lady is apparently a lot nastier than she should be (she’s a little old lady, fer chrissake!)
Some guy is her nephew is a constant disappointment to her and wears very color-coordinated outfits.
The other guy who is making Margo never makes fun of him.
Seriously? That’s the sum total of what I know about these two. Other than the old lady provided a great set-up line.
