Snark It Up, FuzzBall!

Sure, I could’ve been lazy and run an old mashup of Family Circus and jack-o-lanterns ( http://snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com/?p=3315 ), but I came really close to making myself heave while doing this.

Because I care.

Yeah, this little moron needed to be made into something useful, like a jack-o-lantern, too.  I’ve seen more than my fair share of animals available for adoption because their previous dumb-ass owners were inconvenienced by them.  Rather than invest in a vaccuum cleaner or pet brush and some elbow grease, or OTC medication, the easy out makes orphans of many.

…when the original panel has Jeffy complaining to his mother that she forget to “attach a roof to his sandwich,” you know that even his indelicate four-year-old sensibilities are offended by the glop on his plate.

And it’s not like li’l Jeffy is the only Keane in the clan with “issues”:

For the second time in a month, Billy is portrayed as having the absolute crap beaten out of him. (I’ve responded with having the absolute crap beaten out of him again, too.)

On a larger, more cosmic scale, we all know what this means, don’t we?

Amidst all the fun and frolic in the Keane Kidz lives, this is apparently what happens when any one of them ventures from their protective Sno-Globe Kompound, into the real world.  (Billy originally chalked it up to his guardian angel having the day off, but do we really need a feeble explantion?  Really?)

Then again, maybe the ultra-violence isn’t an artifact of the outside world…

I’d completely missed CC’s (Old Man) Muffaroo’s spin on this, which was sort of the same spin that I had, but was spinning even more! And better! (And if this makes any sense, feel free to drop me a line.)
