No, it’s not quite High Flight, even though geese fly high, and Mark Trail annoys them from time to time. But hey! There’s something even stranger than that bird-band Doc found on Mark’s old goose.  And if you’re not into High Fantasy, how about a little Religion?

This new, strange finding has really intrigued Mark:

…kind of like imodium.

Thanks to a whole bunch of CCs (and LotR fans) for inspiring this! The old  goose of Mark’s is more sinister than anyone first realized (and that’s saying a lot for a goose!).

(Does it count if it’s in a cave?)

Given the strangeness in the current Mark Trail storyline (oh, come on, so nu?), CC’s bourbon babe, unbuckled suggested that an early warning system of sorts be considered to warn readers of the day’s brain-numbing effects.  I’m sure a similar system could benefit other strips, but I work with what I got.

[I have to admit that every single time I see Mark (or someone who looks suspiciously like Mark, albeit in long hair, facial hair and fringe), I can only think of Vaughn Bode’s Cheech Wizard and Deadbone.  It could only be better were the actions accompanied by a colorful *GOOMPH*.]

Still a little suspicious about Sheriff Wilson’s should-be-charged-as-an-adult-if-he’s-ever-caught son ( http://snarkitupfuzzball.nexiliscom.com/?p=6165 )?  Yeah, me, too.  At least there’s someone who doesn’t have a lot of daily commitments and is willing to fill in for very little recompense (a floor-covered lollipop will usually do it).
