Two interesting notes while I was putting this together.
1. I learned what “peg boy” means. (I should’ve guessed, considering Dingo mentioned it.)
2. See the guy just above the left hand of the Captain? I met him! He’s a docent for the San Diego Maritime Museam and sailor on the S.S. California, docked there.
When something is…special…you feel the need to exalt it. To praise it. To put it on a pedestal.
And then whack it with a skillet!
With all the commentary on Mark Trail’s mighty, mighty Fists of Justice, punching out bad guys left and right (I think it’s mostly a right), it seemed only fitting that there ought to be something for the ladies.
That’s no Warhol, but them, I’m no art critic.
I know very little of the Judge Parker back-story, but it seems that with biplane-buzzing neighbors and buzz-inducing brownies, something like Abbey’s back is the last thing anyone pays attention to.
(Okay, okay, so the Sherwin Williams motto is actually “Cover the Earth”…earth, globes, yada yada… )
Okay, people change, but we’re encountering a pretty slippery slope here (or, when they said, “It’s all downhill from here.”, they weren’t kidding!).
Ten years haven’t been ten good ones for anyone in Funkytown, it seems.
Of course, in Santa Royale, “Healing” involves a lot of finger-pointing, accusations, underwear, humiliation and blame. Fun!
…what’s more fun that giant isopods? The current story line could only be made better with…ISOPODS!!! (A tip o’ the tentacle to Poteet from CC, who first suggested that such a possibility would be wonderful.)
