Snark It Up, FuzzBall!

Again, I’m drawn into the seamy world of the serial strip by interesting commentary. This is my first Judge Parker foray, and although Abbey isn’t part of the fun (hey, I didn’t know there were other women in the strip at the time! sorry, Abbey; sorry, Gloria), Rusty and what’s-her-name do the strip proud!

There are some things we talk about, and there are some things we don’t. Understand?

The bastions of the family — the centerpoints — the steadying influences. Oh, geez. I think I just threw up in my mouth…

…or a writer and author. And a drip.

In the words of my favorite Sith Lord’s Jedi Master, “I have a bad feeling about this.”

And we careen from one sibling to another! Heralding the “retro” era, Michael is just as annoying at whatever age he is encountered!

For not being “engaged,” this story arc is right up there with the Hundred Years’ War, a standard year on Pluto, and a root canal. Don’t forget the back-story that evokes our sympathy for the couple who are so much in love respect and ease with one another!

I like how this turned out, but then, I like Chubby Huggs. (I’m glad he doesn’t like near me, though.) I’d still like a ‘Hot Cup o’ Monkey’ t-shirt, too.
