When it isn’t going all Jesus-y on the public, it’s pretty freakin’ misogynistic.  And if Fat Broad isn’t around to poke fun at, Wiley “the Poet” is all set to write crap.

But, hey…I can write crap, too! (And it rhymes!)

I gotta quit reading love is…  Even when I only do it when someone else mentions it.

new love is 2

No. Really.  I mean it.

Over in the Deep Woods, Old Man Mozz (Village Prophet and Seer) dreams of awful things coming to The Phantom (Village Idiot)! Guran (Village Medicine Man) counsels The Phantom (Village Big Purple Goober) to stay safe, close to home! The Phantom (Ghost-Who-Does-Jerky-Things) longs for Adventure!

What could possibly go wrong?

Well, suffice it to say that Judge and Mrs. Parker are going to tropical Mexico for their son’s wedding, and Katherine is outfitting the Judge with the latest in early 20th C. exploration gear.  This met with a really frightening expression from Hizzoner, which reminded CC’s Calico of Grumpy Cat.

Which led to a request that I was only too happy to oblige:

Stanley cat

Which led to an opportunity to use the request again:

(and GC’s on my Facebook profile pic for the moment, too. Nothing succeeds like excess.)

The new old harridan at Charterstone, Elinor Kinley, has been likened to

Christopher Walken (a lot);
E.T.
Peter Lorre;
Kelsey Grammer’s mom;
Steve Buscemi;
A Sith Lord (if not the Emperor);
The Scream;
The big-headed aliens in the pilot of the original Star Trek series (the one with Captain Pike…beeeeep!).

See?

Today’s reminded me of Andy Serkis’ absolutely wonderful Gollum (as it did for CC’s Calvin’s Cardboard Box.  Yay! I’m not alone!).  I wish the rendition had turned out better.  Oh, well…on to other things.  (Still, it calls to me…)

Throwing in the towel on this…you win, Mr. Giella!

Or, maybe, while I was out.

Between the Estrella War (an S.C.A. thing) and the 5th Annual Festival of Books (a Tucson thing), it’s nearly the middle of the month! Already!  And CC’s queek even sent me some cute Tu’i photos which I’m putting up RIGHT NOW because it’s Monday and Tu’i’s a cutey patootie and we all need more cutey patootie in our lives!

Can Spring be far away?

Maybe Spring is a little farther off than we thought…

Never can tell with March…cold one minute and sunny the next.  At least Tu’i knows how to take advantage of the situation.

Tu’i’s ears are coming up, much like the daffodils!

Finally, what a classy canine like Tu’i eats every day (I want to be reincarnated as Tu’i!)

And with a good meal under his belt (or collar, or something) Tu’i is ready to dive into putting queek’s taxes together. No! Really!

I think it’s something like “city boy who knows lots of big words and absolutely nothing about animal husbandry (other than the term “animal husbandry” makes him giggle like an eight-year-old girl because is sounds dirty).”

Yep, farmers with a one-cow herd regularly pound upon it because it improves productivity tremendously.  Ask any cow.

While we’re at it, maybe we can ask any mermaid (like the one in Pibgorn), or better yet, any surly sundae…

And a special shout-out to a lot of good folks at The Comics Curmudgeon who know far, far more about animal production, animal science, animal health science, and animal cookies than BMcE could ever hope to.
