Snark It Up, FuzzBall!

Somewhere outside of Hoboken, Lu Ann is being courted by piano mover carpenter Paul; he’s even thrown in a run-down piece of property to sweeten the deal!  I don’t know about Lu Ann, but Mike and Jeff, the gents who do Jumble are pretty impressed, it seems.

…but here is the comix’s laziest man as the world’s laziest animal.

Well, at least as far as Rex Morgan, M.D. is concerned:

A talking ice cream sundae in this week’s “Shoe,” had The Comics Curmudgeon himself, Josh F., suggesting that the sundae be given its own comic strip as an exciting descent into madness (rather than the usual pedestrian *humor* one finds in “Shoe”).

Eh, not so much.

I’ve always been of the opinion that if a person really, really, really wants to be a scapegoat, it’s very nice to oblige them.

Extra points if you happen to be a succubus.

Triple points if the scapegoat is a certifiable, card-carrying (or ought to be carrying a card) jackass.

Poor Ziggy.  The ultimate Everyman with the Whole World Conspiring Against Him.

So, he has a bad job (I think), only $10 for dinner, and a hankering for Italian cuisine.  Evidently there isn’t an Olive Garden in Ziggyland, where you can get the endless breadsticks and soup and salad for under 10 bucks, so he goes to his local cucina and is mercilessly ridiculed by the waiter.

This has to STOP!, at least for one day.

This might be the only time it happens in 2011, Zig, but Happy Endings New Year.

So the 23 December Pibgorn strip concludes a few days of Santa hearing mysterious sleigh bells and running to it in a panic, only to find Dasher and Dancer going at it.  (In the words of Dave Barry, “No, I am not making this up.”)

Mark and I do our best to salvage the situation with a mid-week Nature Study.  Enjoy Nature!
