Okay, people change, but we’re encountering a pretty slippery slope here (or, when they said, “It’s all downhill from here.”, they weren’t kidding!).

Ten years haven’t been ten good ones for anyone in Funkytown, it seems.

Lisa’s demise was handled well. Everything around it, less so. I have to admit that I’m pleased with the quiet serenity of Lio being there; funny how he shows up at the right time. And I liked playing around with the Day of the Dead — Gus Arriola did that very well.

I like how this turned out, but then, I like Chubby Huggs. (I’m glad he doesn’t like near me, though.) I’d still like a ‘Hot Cup o’ Monkey’ t-shirt, too.

I love how this turned out. I’m not much more than an amateur when it comes to PhotoShop, so I don’t really know how or why Chat Bleu came out so well. I’d rather have a Blue Cat than a Green Fairy, no matter what it’s supposed to signify (I don’t live in Funkytown anyway).

I don’t consider myself an ambulance chaser, but I started snarking Funky Winkerbean when the hue and cry of ham-fistedness in the Lisa story arc began growing louder and louder. And I really, really liked messing around with Chat Bleu.
