Lisa’s demise was handled well. Everything around it, less so. I have to admit that I’m pleased with the quiet serenity of Lio being there; funny how he shows up at the right time. And I liked playing around with the Day of the Dead — Gus Arriola did that very well.

    I’ve been puzzling over the guy under the tree for some time now. Is that supposed to be Les pre-jump, wailing over Lisa?

    Yes, this was a FW strip with Les. Talk about morose! I figured Earl (and his canine good sense) could only make it better.

    Wow, even for FW, I can’t believe any comic strip would go as far as printing an image like that.  For most of the time I’ve been visiting this site, I thought that was an Asian man from some obscure strip or comic book.
