    Those lips are also a feature in Edge City.  I guess this is a hallmark of a crappy cartoonist — gum-wad lips makes a character female. (Kind of like the cartoonist at the county fair in The Simpsons, “Hey, girlie. You like to roller skate?  ALL little girls like to roller skate.”)

    It’s a pet peeve of mine, too. (Poor Connie…not only does she have The Lips, but also The Breasts with the Navel between them.)
