I haven’t been paying much attention to Rex Morgan, M.D., recently because it’s been a tad dull.  Then one of Rex’s patients dies (surprisingly, through no fault of Rex!), the widow is suing Rex, to whom much of the guy’s estate was willed to, and the estranged daughter comes into town (for the funeral? the reading of the will? honestly, I don’t know why).

But the important thing is that Iris (the daughter) is staying at stately Morgan Manor, taking long, hot baths after a miserable flight, drinking bourbon and appearing only in a robe after that bath.  Suddenly, interest swells (ahem).
