Looks like Les is going to score a LTR with that hottie Cayla, and hanger-on Susan has bowed graciously out of the way.  Les has been through SO much, poor guy, that, well, isn’t it GREAT that things are going well for the old douchebag  asshat  dickwad fella?

Be professional!

I admire cartoonists/illustrators/artists who can produce work on a very constant, rigorous schedule — it can’t be easy, particularly when one is cartooning less and illustrating more (like most of the folks who work on serial comics like Mary Worth, Rex Morgan, etc.).

But gee whiz, take a step back and LOOK at your work.  Mis-sized heads set at weird angles make an interesting scene laughable.  (aka, Where can I buy a Lu Ann bobble-head?).

And while the Keanes have been phoning it in for some time, there’s some real artistry here and a sense of movement,  muscle tension and orientation between two bodies.  Unfortunately, there’s an innate creepiness with Daddy holding a resistant Dolly (kind of looks like our cat Tobu when she sees the nail clippers…).

…which, in the world of Mark Trail, mean violent!

[I have to admit that every single time I see Mark (or someone who looks suspiciously like Mark, albeit in long hair, facial hair and fringe), I can only think of Vaughn Bode’s Cheech Wizard and Deadbone.  It could only be better were the actions accompanied by a colorful *GOOMPH*.]

It appears that from Mary stepping in to help Dr. Drew (Manwhore!) and his stalker problem and her solving it with good, no-nonsense advice to Nurse Liza (Stalker!):  ONE WEEK!

I think this is some sort of record.

Wow, three days of Abbey Spencer lounging around in her tangerine pegnoir, lolling on Sophie’s bed, and then WHAM! Right back to the excitement of Emma on the roof.

Mary Worth finally takes over this miserable “Liza Stalks Dr. Drew (Manwhore!)” plot.  And you can’t get much meddlier than at the corner bistro…
