…when Pluggers is getting to be one of the most up-beat and happy strips around.
And when the little bits of happiness go blissfully around….
And then there are some subjects that I know WAY too much about. In addition to losing a certain number with each decade…
It’s just sort of reminiscent of another strip…another plot…another character…
Hey, you’re retired, Plugger! Who the hell cares WHEN you show up (if ever)?
the election IS over, right?
Now it’s time to rest, and read, and even a little treat:
…but Scoopy the Surly Sundae does have a softer side, particularly when it comes to Harry Bliss’ sad little squirrel on a park bench.
A philosophical doggo. A hedonistic cat. Life is good. (Thanks to the comic “Bliss” for the happy thought.)
Harry Bliss is a cartoonist for the New Yorker, so it’s no wonder why I can’t figure out some of his work. But he does Chas. Addamsesque stuff at times, and at others, a cartoon is so sad (like a distraught little squirrel sitting on a park bench with a grieving man) that I have to mess with it, or I get all sad and snorfly, too.
…fish apparently multi-task in water.
…snark on a different comic!
…and/or snark on a much better one!
…and, of course, a typical, crappier one.
…vacation can’t end soon enough!
It’s the same ol’, same ol’, but at least a few folks don’t complain…
And, perhaps, the Mitchells live on the OTHER side of the Flagtsons…
Mommoy Flagston might be just a little too frugal…
Not many can beat Garbage Ape!
