Snark It Up, FuzzBall!

Rex’s new patient, an old stove-up rassler. Unfortunately the coot is passing himself off as nobility. This won’t sit well with some folks, I’m afraid.

This is coincidences week here in Morganville. Craziness upon craziness!

So it looks like Rex and June are going to try and patch things up with the old lovebirds Tildy and “Count Crushinski.” I did this one, only to get a few comments on why June looked so weird. Here’s a number of choices:
1. I had other things to do.
2. I lost interest when I tried mashing up the panel.
3. The current plot is close to Beyond Boring.
4. The new artist (and likely, the writer, too)…ditto on the boring.

Rex Morgan used to be just about my favorite strip to parody…I think those days are long gone.

And Billy just likes to think of ways that he can succeed in reducing the number of excess siblings:

Tina Wood, from FB’s Readers of the Comic Curmudgeon, was none-too- eager to say goodbye to Libby the Cat (or a reasonable facsimile, as seen in a recent meme). I snorted!

And to add to all of this good, persistent stuff, another ROTCC reader got an on FB, selling a leopard-print cat mat from Amazon…just like Libby’s. Of course, Libby wasn’t modeling it, but I fixed that. Heh.

While I was at a loss to determine which online seller might have these, several folks offered Coke-coming-out-of-your-nose options:

I think I’ve finally figured this out…the “new story,” with the old guy who adopted a new dog some time ago (months, years, decades — it hardly matters), was merely delayed a week so everyone who is so invested in the Dawn et Hugo lovefest can keep abreast of their long-distance courtship!

Like anyone cares!

Perhaps this Sunday strip (or part of it) will lead to something new. Or different, at least. And, there was no sign of Mary this pas week.
This is called a Small Miracle, folks!

Sure he comes from Hootin’ Holler and he and his kin are as poor as the dirt they squat upon, but Tater just strikes me as the happiest child in the comics universe.

…at least they’re having good weather in the Himalayas!

By the bye, THIS was the same woman who looked like an escapee from a circus sideshow last week (ah, the wonders of (A) Modern Medicine, of (B) Big Pharma).

Of course, I just can’t seem to quit that ole’ saddle-sore Mary…

And way down deep, I suspect Mary Worth had hoped and prayed and lit several black candles that the young, handsome Zak had as vapid as she had hoped…

I’d tell Iris to run away from Mary as fast as humanly possible, but it looks like she’s holding her own. It must be LOVE!

And now, Iris is just jerking Mary’s chain (cool!).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this the last strip with Iris…even if she’s pretty done with Mary, too…
